Theo de Beer runs the HOPS HOLLOW BREWERY in Mpumalanga . . . way up there at the top of the Long Tom Pass. He makes a bitter and a porter and supplies pubs and restaurants in the viscinity of the pass.
Theo's wife runs a guest house from the same premises so if you ever fancy a nice weekend break, contact them via Theo's email at hops@intekom.co.za
On the day, Theo was the exhibitor who came the furthest to present his own beer. OK, so Boston Breweries are further away but Theo was close enough to make the trip over the weekend ! Its great to see the lengths that some people will go to for a few beers !
