Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout – a style that is consistently rated amongst the best beers in the world, but not easily accessible to home brewers.

The plan is to have a big Colab brew day at Frontier Brewing Co.  We will brew a set recipe, and put all the sort into a fermenter, and then a barrel at Frontier Brewing Co.  We will then keg and bottle the beer for use at events (Launch at Winter Beer Festival), giveaways at club meetings etc.

Kind Sponsors on the day include Frontier Beer Co, NFP the homebrew shop, Liquid Culture Yeast.

 

Frontier beers and boerie rolls will be available on the day.

Please indicate if you are interested in bringing your brewery or just attending to be part of a great day out.

We need to produce about 200l of wort, so need at least 10 brewers to participate.  Let us know if you require power of Gas.  We will have plenty of 70 DegC water available for Mash in and sparge.
