The WortHog Brewers (Worties) is a South African based beer brewing club dedicated to the art and science of making good beer.

We hold regular meetings within Gauteng with our 5 chapters.

We have a long history of making tremendous beer, and developing many great new home brewers.

Our Chapters

Each chapter hosts 6 meetings per year with various topics and speakers. At each meeting, members can bring their brews and get feedback. The tasting scores count towards the “brewer of the year”.

How to join

Set up a profile for yourself, then join us at a meeting. You choose which chapter.

Membership is R150 per annum (or pro-rata if during the year).

You can do an EFT for your subscription anytime.
